Nancy Fugate, 80, of Greenfield passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Golden Living Brandywine. She was born October 3, 1940 in Ashland, Kentucky the daughter of Russell and Emma (Bowen) Fugate.
Nancy lived most of her life in Raysville and was a member of Knightstown Church of God. She enjoyed shopping and listening to gospel music. She never met a stranger; once you met her you were a friend for life. Nancy loved everyone and always sent a card or got people a gift on their birthdays.
She is survived by a brother, Andrew Jackson Fugate of Chandler, AZ; close friend, Debbie Cook of Charlottesville; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmie, Claude and Mitchell Fugate; and sister, Betty Jo Fugate.
Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Graveside services will be at 11:15 AM at Glen Cove Cemetery with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Due to Covid-19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required.
