Nancy Carol Porter

Nancy Carol Porter, 70, of Knightstown, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 9, 1948 in Noblesville, the daughter of the late Orville and Orlean Nipper.

Nancy was employed as a CNA for Hancock Regional Hospital for many years and also worked as a Home Helper in the area. She was a member of the Wilkinson Church of Christ. Nancy loved shopping, rummaging, crocheting, gardening, mowing and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was very unselfish and loved helping others.

She is survived by her husband, John Porter of Knightstown; four sons, Bobby (Becky) Craft of Muncie, Chris (Melissa) Craft of Knightstown, Matthew (Tasha) Craft of Knightstown and Tracy (Erica) Westmoreland of Knightstown; son-in-law, Lynn Vestal of Eros, LA; grandchildren, Josh (Starr), Justin (Courtney), Coty (Ashley), Dillen (Jason), Duane, Rajah (Kevin), Victoria, Tanner, Matthew, Emilee, Gabriel, Shatawn (Joshua), Breanna, Jill (Clint), Joni, Joseph and Devin; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Jerry (Deann) Nipper of Auburndale, FL, Larry (Ann) Nipper; sister, Deanna Kerfoot of Fairland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Vestal and two brothers, Dale and Andy Nipper.

Services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM prior to the service.
