Nehemiah J. (Nemo) Miller age 28 of Scott, Louisiana formerly of Williston/Ocala, Florida passed away on August 20, 2011. He was born on November 8, 1982 to Brent and Tina Miller in New Castle, Indiana.
He was raised in Williston Florida and attended Williston High School. He was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord. He was a member of Family Life Church in Scott, Louisiana. He was a skilled welder and worked for Fab Services, Inc. in Lafayette, LA. He was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with the loves of his life his children Nehemiah J. Miller II and Nevaeh Marie Miller, along with family and friends. He had a love for the game of baseball: playing baseball, was a fan of baseball, and was a collector of baseball cards. He enjoyed the water, going to the springs and camping. He played the guitar and a little golf.
A man of character and integrity; a beloved son, father, brother and friend dearly; deeply, loved and missed.
He is survived by his son Nehemiah J. Miller II and his daughter Nevaeh Marie Miller of Lafayette, LA; his sister Chandi Miller of Lafayette, LA; his brother Daniel Miller of New Castle, IN; his mother Tina Miller of Lafayette, LA; his father Brent Miller and wife Maria; his children’s mother Brooke Boutte of Lafayette, LA; maternal grandparents Frederick and Judy Gorman of Spiceland, IN; nieces Madison and Morgan Miller of Knightstown, IN; paternal grandmother Gail; aunts and uncles Tammy Gorman, Yvonne Mead, Lee Ann Miller, Erin Kissane, Frederick Gorman Jr., Patrick Miller; and many loved cousins and their children.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Murvel L. Miller.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. You may express your condolences or share a memory of Nehemiah at www.hinsey-brown.com .
