Pamela Kay Shores, 63, of Anderson passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 19, 2022 in Flagstaff, AZ while on a work assignment. She was born on September 27, 1959 in Rush County, IN, a daughter of the late Bob Gene and Patricia Lavon (Logan) Stevens.
The most important aspect of Pam’s life was her grandchildren; it was all about them. She loved making them Sunday morning breakfast and baking, especially cookies, every weekend. She was a 1978 graduate of Knightstown High School and received a Masters degree from Franklin University in business administration. For the past 8 years, Pam has been employed by Synergy RV Transport where she delivered RV’s all over the country; she loved driving and thoroughly enjoyed what she was doing. Over the years, Pam had been the cook for the Head Start Program at the Hoosier Gym and the Greenfield Police Department. She had also been a student representative with Ivy Tech Community College prior to delivering RV’s. If you knew Pam, you know that she was very blunt, often with no filter and loved to play Bingo and visit the casino to play the slot machines.
Pam is survived by her husband, Brian Shores of Anderson; children, Brandy Nicole (Tim) Magee- Strassburg of Jackson, MI, Matt Magee of Knightstown and Aaron (CJ) Magee of Anderson; Lisa (Steven) Nowaczyk of Westfield, Erin Groupil of Englewood, Co, Jacob (Abby) Shores of Anderson; grandchildren, Bobby and Samantha Strassburg, Macie, Matthew, Lucy and Lilly Magee, Alexa, Carter and Ethan Chafin, James, Reagan and Talie Nowaczyk, Killian and Kyrie Groupil, Cohen and Latham Shores; brother, Leon Stevens of Knightstown; sister, Joan Stevens of KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Stevens and brother, David Stevens.
Services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service Tuesday. You may express condolences or share memories of Pam at
