Pamela Sue Wright

Pamela Sue Wright, age 64, of New Castle passed away February 26, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born August 29, 1946 in New Castle, IN to the late Charles W. Howe and Freda (Marshall) Howe of New Castle.
She was employed by L. E. L. Homecare Service LLC. She formerly worked at Indiana Bell Telephone Co and CVS Pharmacy in Indianapolis. Pamela had also worked in Indiana Pulmonary Care and Indiana Respiratory Care, Apria Healthcare, Hamilton’s Healthcare, Smooth Threads, and Methodist Hospital. Most recently, she was a primary care provider for Robby, an autistic child, for sixteen years. She was actively involved in causes for autism and breast cancer. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed watching IU basketball games and the Indianapolis Colts.
Pamela is survived by her mother, Freda Howe, four sisters, Betty Blackburn, Phyllis (husband: Ronald) Coatie, Julie (husband: Mike) Allen, and Brenda Grider all of New Castle, one brother, Ron (wife: Michele) Howe of New Castle, extended family and close friends, Teresa, Natalie, and Robby Beesley of Indianapolis, seven nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Howe, her husband, David Wright, and special friend, Bard Beesley.
Private graveside services will be held at Green Hills Memory Garden at the convenience of the family. Pastor Paul Davis will be officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. March 2, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Resource Center for Autism, 2853 East Tenth Street, Bloomington, IN 47408, or with envelopes available at the funeral home.
