Patricia R. Bauer, age 82, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at The Waters of New Castle. She was born August 4, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late John J. and Suzanne (Cummings) Kilday.
She was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. Patricia retired from Northrop Grumman Corporation in California. She enjoyed craft shows, reading and attending activities with her friends.
Survivors include two sons, John W. (Judy) Bauer of New Castle and James M. Bauer of Chatsworth CA; daughter, Jeanne M. Bauer of Scottsdale, AZ; two sisters, Anna Marie "Nancy" Kilday Decker of San Jose, CA and Katherine "Kay" Kilday Montgomery of Philadelphia, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, John, Jr. "Jack", Rita, Margaret "Peggy" and Mary.
A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. You may express condolences or share a memory of Patricia at www.hinsey-brown.com .
