Patricia Ann Dick

Patricia Ann Dick, 83, of New Castle passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at her residence. She was born December 7, 1940 in Anderson to the late Irving and Edna (Trueblood) Hanson.

Pat was self-employed as a beautician and previously worked as a teacher at Head Start. She was also employed as a QMA at Heritage House the New Castle State Hospital. A member of the Red Hat Society, she was an avid CB Radio Operator and a member of Henry County REACT. Pat enjoyed fishing, sewing and baking. She also enjoyed playing cards and BINGO. Above all, Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her dog “Little Bit.”

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Gay (Donald) Mullins of New Castle; granddaughters, Midnight Fultz (Fiancé Jason Monday) of Franklin and Tabitha (Charles) Sparks of Shirley; five great grandchildren, Lilyona, Alysann and Ryker Carnes, Nathaniel and Nicholas Sparks; brother, Daniel (Cindy) Hanson of Middletown; sister, Barbara Dalton of Florida; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Steve Fultz and Debra Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Dick who passed in 2008; sister Diana (Wayne) Ellison of Shirley; mother-in-law, Ollie Dick; father-in-law, Arnold Dick; sisters-in-law, Dortha (Eugene) Sexton and Pauline (Fred) Dick; brothers-in-law, Billy Joe Dick and David Dalton.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Paul Davis officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
