Patricia Ann Griggs

Patricia Ann Griggs, age 60, of Middletown, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born November 4, 1953 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Lloyd and Nellie (Thomas) Owens.

She was employed at St. John's Hospital, Anderson visiting nurse, ICAP and Caterpillar Logistics in Greenfield. A Christian, she formerly attended Springport Christian Church. Patricia enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her family especially her granddaughters.

She was formerly married to Arnold Gibson, who passed away. Survivors include her husband, Glen Griggs whom she married April 20, 1996; children, Jamie (Deann) Gibson of New Castle, Joey Gibson (Debbie) of Muncie, Aaron (Angie) Gibson of Springport, Pamela Gibson of Anderson and J.T. (Heather) Griggs stationed with the United States Air Force in England; three granddaughters, Samantha, Madilyn and Avery Gibson; four sisters, Paula (Robert) Guffey of New Castle, Lois Owens of Missouri, Shirley Issack of Oregon and Anita Owens of Ohio; a brother, Larry Owens of Iowa; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Christian Cemetery.
