Patricia "Patti" D. Jackson

Patricia “Patti” D. Jackson, 56, of New Castle passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born November 24, 1958 in New Castle, a daughter of Chet and Barbara (Hacker) Ferguson.
She was employed at Tri Elementary School as a Title I Aide for the past 13 years. She was an in home babysitter for 10 years and also worked for J.C. Penney in New Castle. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Patti enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower garden, sewing and jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Tim Jackson; a son, Tim, Jr. (Melissa) Jackson of Nashville, Tennessee; a daughter, Kati Jackson (fiancé, Ben Agan) of Spiceland; a granddaughter, June Jackson; two brothers, Ron (Fay) Ferguson and Jeff (Wanda) Ferguson both of New Castle; her father, Chet (Belinda) Ferguson of Spiceland and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Ferguson.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Danny Goddard officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
