Patricia “Patti” D. Jackson, 56, of New Castle passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born November 24, 1958 in New Castle, a daughter of Chet and Barbara (Hacker) Ferguson.
She was employed at Tri Elementary School as a Title I Aide for the past 13 years. She was an in home babysitter for 10 years and also worked for J.C. Penney in New Castle. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Patti enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower garden, sewing and jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Tim Jackson; a son, Tim, Jr. (Melissa) Jackson of Nashville, Tennessee; a daughter, Kati Jackson (fiancé, Ben Agan) of Spiceland; a granddaughter, June Jackson; two brothers, Ron (Fay) Ferguson and Jeff (Wanda) Ferguson both of New Castle; her father, Chet (Belinda) Ferguson of Spiceland and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Ferguson.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Danny Goddard officiating.
