Patricia Kay Kendall

Patricia Kay Kendall, age 68, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Henry County Hospital. She was born September 8, 1942 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Norman L. and Marguerite E. (Smith) Reeves.
A lifelong resident of the New Castle area, she was a volunteer at Henry County Hospital where she was president of the Women’s Auxiliary and gift shop. She had previously worked at an insurance company in Indianapolis. She was active with the cub scouts and was awarded the Beaver Award. She was a member and past president of ABWA. She loved camping and attending tractor shows.
Survivors include her husband, William E. “Bill” Kendall of New Castle; son, Michael Steven Reeves of New Castle; daughter, Barbara (husband, David) Downam of Fairmount, IN; eight grandchildren, Lance Michael Reeves (fiance’, Julia Clayborn), Chase Malloy Reeves, Marshall Steven Reeves, Saige Elizabeth Reeves all of New Castle, Jenna Downam, Angel Downam, Zachary Downam all of Fairmount, Christopher Robbins of Marion; three great grandchildren, Jayci Reeves, Luke Reeves and Calleigh Clayborn all of New Castle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Jeanette P. Reeves.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Rick Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery.
