Patricia Leona Ziglar

Patricia Leona Riley Ziglar went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 3, 2016. She was born on July 3, 1942 in Indianapolis to Max Joseph and Vivian Meranda (Zahnow) Riley, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Lee (Sandy) Riley Oldham and brother, Charles William (Chuck) Riley.
She is survived by her husband, John Homer Ziglar, whom she married on January 20, 1962, and daughters, Christy (Brad) Caudill of Orlando, FL; Carla (Kim) Campbell of Abilene, TX; Cindy Ziglar, Jessica Lynn Ziglar, and Kelly Jo Ziglar of New Castle; grandchildren, Dustin Haas of Florida, Ashley (Michael) Campbell Humecky of Texas; and Joshua Carender of New Castle; great grandchildren, Trentin and Piper Ziglar of New Castle and a new great grandchild, soon to arrive.
She is also survived by her brother, Chris Riley, of Indianapolis; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She will be missed also by her fur babies, Rags and Sissy.
Pat was a graduate of Knightstown High School and worked at Western-Electric and Indiana Bell. She made lifelong friendships at her work and in her personal life. She leaves many dear friends to cherish her memory.
Pat never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone who met her feel loved and valued.
Those who would like to honor her memory are encouraged to do something nice today for someone in need as a way of sharing the love she showered on everyone. She also was an avid reader, and memorial contributions may be made to the New Castle-Henry County Public Library.
At her request, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Pat at www.hinsey-brown.com .
