Patsy Bach

Patsy R. Bach, age 75, of New Castle, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Henry County Hospital following a brief illness. She was born July 30, 1934 in New Castle, Indiana to the late John and Elfie (Alvey) Harlen.

A homemaker, she has lived in New Castle all of her life and had worked at the Rose Bowl. Patsy enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, bingo and casinos, but her favorite pastime was playing cards with her children.

Survivors include her husband: John P. Bach, Jr, of New Castle; daughters: Debi (husband: Stanley) Wiley and Sharon (husband: Wayne) Weddle both of New Castle; a son Rick (wife: Rhonda) Bach of New Castle; daughter-in-law: Virgie Bach of New Castle; seven grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; a brother: Bill (wife: Pat) Harlen of Kokomo; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Jerry Bach; a grandson: Jon Wiley; a granddaughter: Treva Bach; great grandson: Caleb Bach.

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Services will be private at a later date.
