Paul Hatley

Paul G. Hatley, age 95, of New Castle, passed away Thursday, January 07, 2010 at Henry County Hospital following a brief illness. He was born March 20, 1914 in Newport, Tennessee to the late Alexander and Sally (Holt) Hatley
He became a member of the United Pentecostal Church, at 1603 “G†Avenue in 1949, after hearing Reverend Earl McElhaney preaching on the court house square. He was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in New Castle for many years. Paul was employed for the city of New Castle for over 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter: Lois (husband: Greely) Dishman of New Castle; two grandsons: Daryl (wife Gina) Thorne of Ocala, FL and Darin Dishman of Richmond; one granddaughter: Amanda (husband: Dan) Shirley of Bloomington; three great grandchildren; several sisters and brothers; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Emily M. Hatley in 2000; a son: W. Clyde Hatley in 1990.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Donnie Silvers officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens.
