Peggy Huddleston

Peggy Huddleston, age 63, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 after an extended illness. She was born July 24, 1945 in Albany, Kentucky to the late Johnnie Sammie and Thelma Louise (Cross) Flowers.

She was a very loving and caring person who cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to fish and the outdoors where she enjoyed gardening. She was employed at Firestone for over 20 years in Noblesville and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in New Castle. She was loved by all.

Survivors include three children: Louise Huddleston (partner: David Coon) of New Lisbon, Johnnie “Bud" (wife: Lisa) Huddleston of New Castle and Patricia Jean Huddleston (partner: Paul Borck) of Cambridge City; eight grandchildren: Bennie Allen Purvis, Crystal (husband: Matthew) Scott, Heather (husband: Josh) Key, Chris Doyen, Coy Hanson, Brandon Doyen, Andrew Doyen, Cheyenne Huddleston all of New Castle; six great grandchildren: Dylan and Onika Purvis, Makayla and Clayton Scott, Dalton and Lilly Mya Key; three siblings: a brother, Johnnie Coy Flowers and a sister, Deborah Ann Palacios; three sisters-in-law: Dean (husband: Earl) Owens, Jane (husband: Howard) Stockton and Wilma Walters; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband: Bennie Huddleston.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in New Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.hinsey-brown.com .
