Phyllis Jean Heck, 73, of New Castle died Friday, September 17, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital following a long term illness. She was born March 9, 1937 In Henry County, Indiana, a daughter of the late Winford and Helen (Neal) Sampley.
She was a former member of the VFW and the Women’s Auxillary.
She is survived by one son: Dean (wife: Laura Fadeley) Holloway of New Castle.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Bob Heck and a sister: Barbara Couch.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in South Mound Cemetery with Jack Hannum officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Phyllis J. Heck Memorial Fund, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 South Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN. 47362 Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service.
