Ramah D (Parker) Nunn

Ramah D. (Parker) Nunn, 87, of Tampa, FL passed away on December 17, 2022, at The Rucki
Hospice Care Center in Zephyrhills, FL. She was born in New Castle, IN on September 23,
1935, to Charles M. and Martha E. (Kuhns) Parker. Shortly after graduating high school, she
married the love of her life and started her family.

Ramah was an active member of the Citrus Grove Lutheran Church. She worked as a secretary
for many years for the State of Florida as well as Moffitt Cancer Center where she began
working in the work trailers while the hospital was being built. She enjoyed reading, watching
football and baseball, and painting ceramics in her free time.

She was a loving Mother, Nana, and friend. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Ramah was preceded in death by her husband, A. Clayton Nunn; mother and father; brothers,
Ronald Parker, and Terry Parker; great-grandson James C. Shockley; and her cousin and best
friend, Carolyn Eversole.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Nunn of New Castle, IN; daughters, Cindi Shockley, Tampa, FL,
and LeeAra Dodds, Zephyrhills, FL; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and
nephews.

Service will be held at Hinsey Brown Funeral Home, 3406 S. Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN
on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Refreshments will follow the service.
