Randy Allen Gulley, age 68, of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Henry County Hospital following an extended illness. He was born September 29, 1943 in Rushville, a son of the late Junior Randolph and Ruth (Jackson) Gulley.
He was a 1996 retiree of Chrysler Corporation in New Castle after 32½ years of service. He was a member of the UAW #371. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and being with his family. Randy also enjoyed playing BINGO.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 46 years, Judy L. Gulley of New Castle; whom he married October 30, 1965; a son, Nicholas (wife, April) Gulley of New Castle; a daughter, Kimberly Gulley of New Castle; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Malson (fiancé, John Shelton), Miranda Gulley (companion, Tyler Pennington), Leslie Gulley (companion, Brandon Thompson), Wyatt Gulley, Nicholas Gulley II, Zachary Johnson, all of New Castle, and Donald Williams, serving with the U.S. Army in OK; seven great grandchildren, Avah and Sylas Pennington, Mason Adams and Ethan Thompson, Lexi Gulley, Jessica LaForce, and Jaxson Gulley; two sisters, Lana (husband, Larry) Tuttle of Fortville and Dinah (husband, Dave) Morgan of Mooreland; a brother, Victor (wife, Velma) Gulley of Spiceland; a brother in law, Steve Sayre of Mooreland; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son: Greg H. Gulley; two sisters: Cindy Sayre and Donna Davis and a brother, Greg P. Gulley.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Paul Baty officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the funeral home.
