Regina Lynn Braswell

Regina Lynn (Ferrell) Braswell, 67, of New Castle passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at Methodist Hospital. She was born June 29,1957 in Henry County to the late Delmar and Virgina (Davis) Ferrell.

 She was a 1976 graduate of Chrysler High School and married her husband, Harrison, that same year. Regina enjoyed going to concerts and the Covered Bridge Festival. Her and her husband camped at Bill Monroe Festival for 3 years. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and baking. Regina has won many contests for her pies. Her favorite pies to make were apple and peanut butter. Harrison and Regina were both Youth Pastors at Abundant Life Church for 10 years and church camp counselors. She assisted her husband in Associate Pastor duties for many years at Spiceland Pike Church. Regina was always a go getter and was able to handle any situation. She would always spoil her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. 

 She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Harrison Braswell; son, Derrick (Sarah) Braswell and daughter, Dannielle Thompson; grandchildren, Parker Thompson, Jude Braswell and Amelia Braswell; several great nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Delmar Farrell and sister, Barbara Ferrell.
