Richard D. Bach, Jr., 31, of Carmel, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born August 25, 1984 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Richard Bach, Sr. and Ruth (Bryant) Case.
He was employed at ITT Technical Institute in Carmel. He was a 2003 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and earned a Masters Degree in computer technology from Ball State University. Although he had been legally blind from premature birth, Richard overcame many obstacles to become an accomplished computer specialist and a hard worker.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth (Robert) Case of Pendleton; sister, Renee (Josh) Madden of New Castle; maternal grandfather, Roy Bryant of Hartford City; paternal grandfather, John Bach of New Castle; niece, Ally Madden; nephew, Jacob Madden; stepmother, Rhonda Bach Razor; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Richard Case and Lauren Case of Fishers, Amber and Josh Taarud, and Angie Cunningham all of MN; two aunts, Barbara (Dustin) Phelps of Farmland and Sharon Weddle of New Castle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard D. Bach, Sr.; twin sister, Treva Bach; paternal grandmother, Pat Bach; maternal grandmother, Maxine Morrison; step maternal grandmother, Lois Bryant.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Robert Case officiating. Burial will follow in Elliott Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
