Richard “Rick” Allen Booher, 57, of Knightstown, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 unexpectedly at his residence. He was born May 3, 1954 in Wells County, IN a son of Virgil and Pauline (Aerlin) Booher.
Rick was currently employed at Atlas Logistics in Shelbyville for the last 13 years. Rick was a veteran of the US Army. He was a jokester, never serious, a big flirt. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Rick was very dependable and was always there if you called. He would do anything for anybody.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 28 years: Patricia (Beach) Booher of Knightstown; children: William (Dawn) Beach of New Castle, Joe Brown (companion: Beth Hamilton) of Shelbyville; Eleanor (Chad) Gallien of Knightstown, and Kamron Hardeman of Knightstown; grandchildren: Jake Carter, Jessica Brown, Siera Beach, Leeland Gallien, Landon Gallien, Cooper Brown; siblings: Jerry (Margaret) Booher, Don (Sue) Booher; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents: He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Alice Goodnight, Mary Weikel, and Sue Anthony.
Service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Sunday prior to the service.
