Robert S. "Rob" Cook

Robert S. "Rob" Cook, 46, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013. He was born August 5, 1967 in Marion County, Indiana to Lawrence Cook and Gerda (Dollinger) Garmon.
He was employed at Ford Motor Company and formerly at Fred and Sons Painting in Indianapolis. He was a member of the UAW 1111 and Local UAW #862, he was also a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, coaching soccer, motorcycle riding, watching sports and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Carrie (Rush) Cook; sons, Joshua Cook, stationed at JBLM Washington and Dalton (LaKaela) Cook of New Castle; mother, Gerda (John) Garmon of Indianapolis; three brothers, Chris of Las Vegas, "Jay" (Denise) Cook of Spring Lake, IN and Jason (Christine) Cook of Indianapolis; mother-in-law, Elsie Rush of Indianapolis; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Cook; father-in-law, James Rush.
