Robert (Bubby) Michael Johnson

Robert (Bubby) Michael Johnson, age 44, of Anderson and formerly of Knightstown, went to fly with angels Friday, June 20, 2014 at his home from complications from his battle with Epilepsy. Bubby was born August 10, 1969 in Greenfield, Indiana to Robert T. and Darlus Johnson.

Robert attended Knightstown High School and was a long time resident of Knightstown. He enjoyed working at the Knightstown Sale Barn for many years. He was also an attendant at the Lanes Service for many years. He enjoyed fishing with Cousin Tim, playing BINGO and the lottery. Robert liked watching his great nieces and nephews play sports. He also enjoyed collecting special old coins.

Robert is survived by his mom: Darlus Johnson of Middletown; his sisters: Darla Johnson of Middletown, Debora (Daniel) Rudd of Denver, Colorado and Rhonda Johnson of Anderson; his nieces and nephew: Tiffany (Joe) Johnson of Middletown, D.J. Rudd of Denver, Colorado, Brittany (James) Griffis of Middletown, Jesica (Paul) Hauck of Denver, Colorado and Emily (Cody) Rector of Middletown; his great nieces and nephews: Jada, Hayden, Addison, Trinity, Aurora, Taylor, Ayden, Mason, Haylee, Memphis and Raleigh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Johnson; his grandparents: Lola and Eddie Roy and Bertha and Ruel Johnson; his uncles: James Roy, Philip Roy, Jr. Norfleet, Bub Johnson, Allison Johnson, Ethel Johnson, and Lewis Johnson; his aunts: Sue Moore and Betty Bougus, and Loretta Johnson, and cousins Rogie Roy, Shelly Roy and Randy Johnson.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
