Robert Elvin Patton, 80, of Crescent City (Paradise Shores) formerly of New Castle, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his residence. The son of Clovis Elvin and Ida Louise (Reynolds) Patton, he was born on June 15, 1944, in New Castle, Indiana.
He attended New Castle High School. Robert worked at Chrysler and retired in 1998 after 30 years of service. He loved traveling, telling stories, and aggravating his daughter (family inside joke). Robert also loved antique cars and warm weather.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Spencer “Boone”) Bradley; sisters, Betty Jo Piercy and Maggie Easter Beckner; grandpup, “Sneechie”; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lillie Mae (Stockton) Patton; sister, Ruth Ann (Robert Bell) Patton; twin sister, Roberta Louise Patton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Beckner, Pauline and Gene Hasty; George and Ruby Stockton, Sam and Shirley Stockton and Floyd Piercy.
Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday November 2, 2024, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens.
