Robert Eugene Stephens

Robert “Bucky” Eugene Stephens, 48, of Knightstown passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1964 in Rushville the son of the late Donnie V. and Peggy Ann (Smith) Stephens.

He was a member of Labor Union Local #1112. He loved to sing karaoke, have a good time hanging out with friends, family and especially his grandbabies. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle especially “fast” and liked to take country cruises.

He is survived by his children: Alicia Stephens of Indianapolis, Josh Stephens of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Damian and Jayden Stephens of Indianapolis; siblings: Tim (Stacey) Stephens of Carthage, Chuck (Heather) Stephens of Carthage, Teresa (Dan) Cullison of Carthage, Dawn (Nathan) Sanders of Carthage, Kimberly (Doug) Jett of Shelbyville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Fred and Lois Smith; paternal grandparents: Ollie and Faithy Stephens; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Carthage. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
