Robin Elaine Felix

Robin Elaine Felix, 67, of New Castle passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her residence. She was born March 15, 1954 in Muncie, Indiana, a daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Hickman) Batchfield.

A homemaker, Robin loved music, especially Elvis Presley and visited Graceland in Memphis. She loved spending time with friends & family, especially her grandchildren. Robin enjoyed cooking, baking, playing BINGO and watching cooking shows.

Survivors include her son, Derek Felix of New Castle; daughter, Jessica Felix (fiancé, Jeremiah Davis) of New Castle; grandchildren, Kalei Laine, Marli June and Brynlee Danielle Griffin and Taisley Michelle Davis; sister, Carol “Susie” (Steve) Huffman of Kentucky; brothers, Gary (Barbara) Batchfield of New Castle and Steve (Sue) Batchfield of New Castle; several nieces, nephews and many friends who loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Carl Batchfiel Jr. and Billie Jo Duvall. Robin is now reunited with her best friend & sister Ellen “Jane” Hicks.

Services will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Derek Felix officiating.
