Ronald Bowers

Ronald A. “Moe” Bowers, 60, of New Castle passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born July 10, 1964 in Muncie to John and Ruth (Guffey) Bowers.

Moe was self-employed as an auto mechanic and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family with all their vehicle issues. He was a tinkerer and could always be found fixing up anything he could find. Moe loved music and setting up music equipment to enjoy all his favorite tunes. He was a collector of model cars and had a great sense of humor. Moe enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He also loved dogs, especially Tara who recently passed.

He is survived by three sons; Ronald A. Bowers of Arizona, Rusty S. Bowers of New Castle and Randy R. Bowers of New Castle; two grandchildren, Landan Bowers and Aaliyah J Bowers; mother, Ruth Bowers of New Castle; brother, Jonathan Bowers of Indianapolis; three sisters Teresa Bowers of New Castle, Sherry (Greg) Neal of Raeford, North Carolina and Sue Redwine of New Castle; seven nieces and nephews, Gary, Danielle, Whitney, Seth, Britney, Stephany and Tiffany; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special friend Gracie.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Henry Township Trustees Office new location, 205 S. 21st Street, New Castle, IN (formerly Wiley Methodist Church).
