Ronald “Ron” Caffoe, 88, of Fishers passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at IU North Hospital. He was born February 4, 1932 in Jamestown, NY to the late Frank and Katherine (Plano) Caffoe.
He is a US Army veteran and served during the Korean War. Ron worked for Modernfold for 33 years as the plant manager. Ron loved to play golf at the American Legion Golf Course and participated on the bowling league at Rose Bowl for many years. He was a member of the Elks in New Castle. Following his retirement from Modernfold he was the co-owner and manager at Norwood Golf Course in Huntington, IN. He also enjoyed gardening, IU basketball and spending time with his family.
Ron is survived by his wife of 65 years Loretta, children; Dan (Missy) Caffoe, Cindy (Doug) Furbee, Bob (Nancy) Caffoe, Beth (Bill) Leonard, Michelle Radomsky, grandchildren; Drew (Jen) Clark, Emily (Dan) Krleski, Megan (Kyle) Ash, Dru Furbee, Jason (Rachel) Caffoe, Katie Caffoe, Susanna (Mike) Roy, Jenny (Cole) Sundquist, Sarah Leonard, Moira Leonard, Abby Radomsky, Carrie Radomsky and Becca Radomsky, 9 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother Elizabeth Caffoe and 3 brothers.
