Ronald William Howe

Ronald William Howe, 66, a resident of New Castle passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Henry Community Health. He was born October 17, 1957 in New Castle to the late Charles and Freda (Marshall) Howe.

Ron retired from the New Castle Correctional Facility and was formerly employed at Highway Liquor and Save-On Liquor Stores in New Castle. He loved attending concerts and was a collector of concert T-shirts and NASCAR Models. A sports enthusiast, Ron enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years: Michele (Lester) Howe, whom he married August 8, 1989; two sons: Justin Howe of Portland, OR and Alex Howe of New Castle; four sisters: Betty Blackburn, Phyllis Coatie, Julie Allen and Brenda Grider, all of New Castle; in-laws: Debra Wildey, Ronald Lester, Michael Lester, Tonya Hill; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Jack.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister: Pamela Wright; in-laws: Ralph and Nettie Lester.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday October 19, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the New Castle VFW Post 1282 205 N. 16th Street New Castle, IN 47362.
