Ronnie J. Ferguson, Sr. 60, of New Castle, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. He was born February 19, 1956 in New Castle the son of Royal C. and Mary Ann (McLaughlin) Ferguson.
Ronnie was a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He loved being outside and was an avid farmer at Ferguson Farms on Brown Road for many years. He enjoyed tinkering on vehicles and worked at Pierce Auctions. He loved his dog, Sophie Girl and watching westerns.
He is survived by a son, Ronnie (Sarah) Ferguson of New Castle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Ferguson; and grandparents, Harley and Nina Ferguson, George and Katherine McLaughlin.
At Ronnie’s request, there will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Condolences and memories of Ronnie may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
