Rosey Miller

Rosey E. Miller, age 91, of New Castle, went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born April 4, 1917 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Oliver and Esta (Swift) Engelman.
She was a Sunday school teacher at Pifer Methodist church in West Virginia and had attended South Side Nazarene Church. She loved singing at church and playing the harmonica. She was always helping others when they were sick. She also enjoyed hobbies such as quilting and crocheting.
Survivors include a son: Virgil (wife: Iris) Miller of New Castle; a daughter: Margaret Faye (husband: Ken) Warnicke of Kalamazoo, MI; four grandsons; eight great grandchildren; brother: Albert (wife: Midge) Engelman of Portage, MI; sister: Donna Young of Gobles, MI; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Howard F. Miller; eleven brothers and sisters; a son: Marvin Ray Miller.
Graveside services will be at Pifer Mountain Cemetery in West Virginia at the convenience of the family. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be given to Rosey E.
