Roy David Clark, age 60, of Middletown, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at his residence. He was born December 21, 1949 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Clella and Verlie (Rigney) Clark.
He retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1998 after 30 years of service. Roy was an outdoors person who loved guns, motorcycles and cooking. He was quick witted with a good sense of humor. Roy loved his family, family gatherings, and especially spending time with his grandson Trevor. Roy loved the Lord and attended the Fellowship church in Muncie.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa J. Clark of Middletown; a daughter, Angela (husband, Bryan) Shell of Greenfield; a son, David Clark of New Castle; brothers, Lonnie (wife, Anna) Clark, Larry, Gerald and Euil (wife, Lynn) Clark all of New Castle; sisters, Ledda Johnson of Albany, KY and Retha (husband, Mervin) Daniel of Albany, KY; a grandson, Trevor Humphreys; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cletis Smith.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Ron Elam officiating.
