Russell James Cope, 47, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at St. Vincent in Indianapolis. He was born October 6, 1964 in Los Angeles, CA a son of Robert Eugene and Arla J. (Lockwood) Cope.
Russell was a good husband and loved his children. His passion was truck driving which he did for 15 years and most recently with Gas America. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years and boating. Russell also enjoyed working in his garage and around his house.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by children: Russell James Cope, Jr. of Springport, Allison Marie Cope of Middletown, Christina Lynnette Cope of Middletown, Christopher Lee Cope of Middletown; maternal grandfather: Manford Lockwood of Springport; a brother: Randall Lee Cope of Fishers; Victoria L. Cope of Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Eugene Cope.
