Ruth (Conaway) Hardyman, age 62, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at St. Vincent Heart Center. She was born March 14, 1947 to the late Raymond and Edith (Shay) Conaway.
Ruth enjoyed playing bingo and going fishing. Above all things in her life, Ruth loved and cherished her family and friends with whom she enjoyed spending time.
Survivors include her daughter: Donna (husband: Bob) Clayborn of New Castle; two grandsons: Michael Bennett and Dusty Bennett both of New Castle; a great grandson: Chastin; two sisters: Jeanette Jackson of Knightstown and Mary Riddle of Tompkinsville, KY; a sister-in-law: Geraldine Conaway of Tompkinsville, KY; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Dick Conaway and Raymond Conaway; a stepbrother: Jim Warren; a son: Richard Hardyman.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Gene Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland.
