Ruth N. Harrison, 94, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Parker Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on May 27, 1919, in Henry County, Indiana, to Claude and Clara Bowman Sheets.
Ruth graduated from Center High School in 1937. She attended Blountsville Church of the Nazarene, and had served as a volunteer 4-H leader for over 30 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Alice V. Wright of Muncie, and Martha Lou Harvey of Muncie; one brother, Richard L. Sheets of DeMotte, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Harrison; a sister, Mary Jane Cross, and a brother, Charles L. Sheets.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. You may express condolences or share a memory of Ruth at www.hinsey-brown.com .
