Ruth T. Sare

Ruth T. Sare, age 81, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1931 to the late Orville and Florence (Duhamell) Tex.

She retired from Indiana Erectors in 1994 following over 20 years of service. She had previously worked at Morris Chevrolet and New Castle Tire Company. She attended Temple Baptist Church. Ruth had been a den mother for the cub scouts. She enjoyed reading and loved her dogs BeBe and Darcy.

Survivors include five children: Scott (wife, Diane) Sare of Clearwater, Florida, Robin (husband, Donald) Jones of Springport, Tracy (husband, Larry) Barnes of Salina, Kansas, Rayce Sare of Greenfield and Kelly Sare (fiancé, Jerry McRoberts) of New Castle; fourteen grandchildren; Shannon, Joshua, Ashli, LaDonna, Lindsey, Donnie, Billy, Jeff, Casey, Spencer, Leslie, Jackson, Jacob, and Lettie Ann; eighteen great grandchildren: Dalton, Jessie, Kara, Brittany, Tyler, Dylan, Amanda, Emily, Samantha, Dakota, Maddox, Fletcher, Colton, Aiden, Trevor, Jessica, Nicholas and Trinity; three great-great grandchildren: Rylee, Kain & Conner Jay; two sisters, Freida Brown of Indianapolis and Charlene (husband, Dick) Cleary of Greenwood; brother, Jerry (wife, Maxine) Tex of Whiteland; several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sare; several brothers and sisters.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Bob Schon officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 and one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
