Ryan Dean Ondras

Ryan Dean Ondras, 19, of New Castle passed away Friday, December 30, 2011. He was born October 7, 1992 in Muncie, Indiana, a son of Robert Ondras of Mount Juliet, TN and Kimberly S. Baker Ondras of New Castle.

Ryan was a 2011 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He loved fishing, golfing, listening to music and playing the guitar and drums. He enjoyed watching and participating in a variety of sports. Ryan loved being surrounded by friends and was a very, very caring person. He was a big guy with a caring heart. He was planning on enrolling in school with a career as an EMT.

Survivors include his parents: Kimberly S. Baker Ondras of New Castle and Robert (Deb) Ondras of Mount Juliet, TN; a sister: Jessica LaRae Ondras of New Castle; step-sisters: Megan & Lauren McComb of Mount Juliet, TN; maternal grandparents: Willard “Bill” & Ruth Baker of New Castle; uncles: Del Baker of New Castle; Mark (wife, Melanie) Baker of New Castle; Scott (wife, Kathy) Ondras of Snohomish, WA; and aunts: Sheila (husband, Danny) Lyon of Marysville, WA; Tracy Ondras of Marysville, WA; several cousins in both New Castle and the Seattle area; many, many dear friends and a special friend: Lizz McCrobie of New Castle.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Barbara & Dick Ondras; and a special friend: Gregg Hudson.

Services will be private. Friends may call from 2:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
