Saferiah Kay Roberts

Saferiah Kay Roberts, 4 months, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home. She was born June 8, 2022 in New Castle to her parents, Chandler B. Roberts II and Makayla Dalton.

Always smiling and laughing, Saferiah was a happy baby. She just lit up the room and seemed to want to grow up too fast! She loved watching football and was lovingly known to many as “baby sister”.
Although Saferiah’s life was short, she made a big impression on many people who loved her dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daddy and mommy, Chandler B. Roberts II and Makayla Dalton, of New Castle, siblings, Maverick Roberts, Anakin Dalton, and River Roberts; maternal grandparents, Amber (Dustin) Reed of New Castle, Phil (Andrea) Holcomb of GA; paternal grandparents, Chandler and Linda Roberts of New Castle; maternal great grandfathers, Johnnie Brown of New Castle and Randall Dalton of New Castle; paternal great grandparents, Pam (Delbert) Adkins of Mooreland and Julie Roberts of New Castle; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Chad Conner; maternal great grandmothers, Kristi Garner and Beth Brown, maternal great grandfather, Phil Conner; paternal great grandparents, Betty Roberts and Jack Roberts.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jeff Emmitt officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. noon until time of service. Private burial will be in Mt. Summit Cemetery. Memorial contributions will be given to the Saferiah Kay Roberts Memorial Fund, 3406 S.
