Sandra J. Clark

Sandra J. Clark, 72, of London, Ohio, formerly of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 17, 2024, at the family farm in Dupont, Indiana, where she and her husband enjoyed camping. She was born September 8, 1952, in Wayne County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Jesse and Allene (Patrick) Holder.

Kind, gentle, and friendly, she was a loving mother and wife. She attended school in New Castle. She enjoyed camping and fishing and loved watching the Hallmark channel. She was an avid Buckeye’s fan, and enjoyed watching football.

She retired from the London Correctional Institute following several years of service as a corrections officer.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gary R. Clark Sr. of London, OH; a son, Gary R. Clark Jr. (Nichole) of Conway, SC; stepson, Brian (Brandy) Clark of Hebron, KY; siblings, Debra (Marvin) Bell of GA, Zelmer (JoAnn) Holder of Richmond, Denzil (Lorrie) Holder of Clarksburg, IN, Harold Holder and Jonie (Travis) Smith, both of Hanover, IN, and Mark Holder of Lexington, KY; sisters in law, Denzil Dicken of New Castle, Lou Neal of New Castle, Sharon Rodenmayer of Reynoldsburg, OH, Kathy (James) Woodard of Broken Arrow, OK; several nieces and nephews, as well as her grandpups, Maslo and Kylo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Clark in 1973; a sister, Sherry Ricketts, and two brothers, Keith Holder and Carlos Holder.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle and one hour prior to the service Wednesday.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Condolences and memories of Sandra may be made at www.hinsey-brown.com.
