Sandra M. Rader

Sandra Marie Benware Walden Rader, age 73, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born March 31, 1942 in Malone, New York to the late Vernon and Lorraine (Hazen) Benware.

Sandra was a wonderful cook, and while at Maplewood Terrace she cooked meals every Saturday evening for everyone to enjoy. She also worked at Welliver's in Hagerstown for many years. Sandra was very gifted at crocheting. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children, Beth Walden of Sidney, OH; a son, Curtis (Julia) Walden of Eaton, OH; three grandsons, John Cahill of Oakwood, OH, Benjamin Burnside of Sidney, OH, Justin Walden of Eaton, OH; a sister, Patsy Benware; aunt, Hazel Nazen of Malone, NY and several cousins in Malone, New York; and a good friend Betty Neal of New Castle.

Services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Friends may call from 5-6 p.m. before the service.
