Sandra Sue Spencer, 59, a resident of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born July 10, 1954 in Richmond to the late Max Adamson and Lucille Irene (Cummins) Hayes.
She attended Temple Baptist Church in New Castle and enjoyed making up songs for her grandchildren.
Survivors include three children: Cherilyn (Eddy) Neal of Greenfield, John, Jr. (Emily) Spencer of Alexandria, Virginia and Tammy Oliver of Indianapolis; six grandchildren: Autumn Fraley, Savannah Spencer, Xandra and Liberty Neal, Isaac and Isabel Spencer; a great grandson: Xavier West; six siblings: Darlene Gwyn of Richmond, Ed Wall of Sunrise, FL, Maria Hahn of Richmond, Mark Adamson of Florida, Michael Adamson of California and Glenn Seefeldt of Germany; her former husband, John Spencer, Sr. of Seymour.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, October 11, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Bob Schon officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the funeral home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Micale and a brother, Max Adamson.
