Scott A. Melton, Sr., age 49, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at his residence. He was born August 10, 1960 to the late Robert C. and Norma J. (Gass) Melton.
A very creative person, Scott had an imaginative and artistic mind, was brilliant and loved studying trivia. He enjoyed mastering any craft or form of art.
He leaves to cherish his memory: companion: Lisa Boldt of New Castle; three children: Scott A. Melton, Jr. of Wabash, Bobby Melton of Wabash and Zoella Melton of North Manchester; a grandson: Brekken Melton of Wabash; two sisters: Angie (husband: Randy) Knotts of Wabash and Doris (husband: Frank) Baker of Michigan; four brothers: Tom Melton of North Manchester, Andy Melton of Wabash and Ron and Mike Melton both of California; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Congregational Christian Church 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester, Indiana. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday before the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Scott A. Melton, Sr. Memorial Fund c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 S. Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN 47362, to whom arrangements have been entrusted.
