Sharon Hite, 81, of Mt. Summit passed away Saturday December 24, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born in Indianapolis on July 26, 1941 to the late Granville and Dorothy (Phillips) Hall.
She was a graduate of Muncie Central High School. On August 20, 1960 she married her best friend and love of her life Danny Hite. Sharon enjoyed sewing, woodworking and ran a ceramic shop out of her garage. She loved camping and boating but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory husband of 62 years Danny; daughters, Cindy (Tod) Norris and Teresa (Chris) Fellers; grandchildren, Chelsea (Jon) Mock, Cole (Alexis) Wilson and Beau Wilson; great grandchildren, Asher, Jayden, Audrey, Ezra, Lilian, Olivia, Finley and Mathew Maki; great-great granddaughter, Ava; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Sharon is preceded in death by a son, Danny Hite; grandson, Mathew Norris; brother, Leon “Junior” Hall; sisters, Deana Williams and Dianna Burchfield; sister-in-law, Judith Hall and brother-in-law, Jim Burchfield.
Sharon asked that there be no public services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service New Castle.
