Sharon Kay Robbins, 71, formerly of Mooreland passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born May 12, 1953 in New Castle to the late Mack C. and Winnie L. (Davis) Robbins.
Sharon could always be seen wearing a smile. She was always happy but did also have a mischievous side! She loved traveling with her family, visiting the Smoky Mountains, the beach and Walt Disney World where she was excited about receiving a kiss from Mickey Mouse. In her earlier years, she enjoyed crafting and going to the Homemakers Club with her mother. She had worked at Noble Industries for several years. She had also attended Blountsville Church of Christ, where she was a member until its closing.
She is survived by her siblings, Nelda German, Neal Robbins, Sherry Brown, Kenneth Robbins and Kevin Robbins; nephews, Matthew (Amanda) German, Bryan German, Kyle (Carlee) Robbins, Evan (Megan) Robbins and Austin Robbins; great nieces, Piper, Lyra and Rylee and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Farley and Cora Robbins and Bryan and Myrtle Davis.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics of Indiana.
