Shirley Conley

Shirley D. Conley, 75, of New Castle passed away on Friday November 8, 2024, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born on September 29, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Charles and Betty (Purk) McKay.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Angela Crisler; grandchildren, Ali, Taylor, Brayden and Ashley; 3 great grandchildren; daughter, Michele Felker; grandchildren, Jocelyn; daughter, Courtney (Tyler) Bruner; grandchildren, Zaiden Webster and Olivia Bruner; daughter, Tiffany (Bob) Conley; grandson, Brandon Moon; sister, Marilyn (Ed) Perara; brothers, Bob (Alexis) McKay and Charles (Sandy) McKay; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Conley; son-in-law, Jason Felker.

Shirley was a 1967 graduate of Piqua High School in Ohio and obtained her associates degree from Edison State Community College in 1996. Shirley worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer for the Shelby County, Ohio Municipal Court. She enjoyed thrifting and shopping for deals. Shirley had a passion for cooking and her charitable giving to others. She loved helping with the Trojan Marching Band. Shirley took the bus nearly every day to the Park Restaurant to see her dear friend Heather, that worked there. 

Visitation will be on Monday November 11, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Hinsey- Brown Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life will follow at the V.F.W. Post 1282 205 N 16th St, New Castle, IN 47362.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made out to the funeral home to assist the family in expenses.
