Shirley E. McKee, 75, of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 18, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 26, 1936 in Fairland the daughter of Robert Don and Goldie Mae (Jones) Crosby.
A homemaker most of her life, Shirley was a kind person, who enjoyed helping her neighbors whenever someone was in need and was always there to talk to. She loved animals, especially her dog.
She is survived by her twin brother: Eugene (wife, Peggy) Crosby of Morristown; younger brother: Robert (wife, Beverly) Crosby of Vista, CA; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jarvey McKee; infant daughter: Goldie Colleen McKee; two sisters: Iona Shoopman & Colleen Stites; brothers: Joe Crosby and Donald “Bing” Crosby.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Tim Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
