Carol Ann Shirley

Carol Ann Shirley, 84, of Greenfield passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born March 16, 1940 in Knightstown, Indiana to the late Lawrence Dalrymple and Doris Lukens Dalrymple. 

Carol was a 1958 graduate of Knightstown High School. She was a member of the Knightstown Friends Church, a member of Psi Iota Xi in Knightstown, the Alumni Association, a member of the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Kennard, a teacher’s aide at Knightstown Elementary School and also worked at National Insurance Agency in Knightstown. Carol enjoyed traveling, quilting, cooking and loved her family and grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her husband of 37 years, Raymond Shirley; daughters, Kim Entwistle (Mark), Kelly True (Dave); step-children, Janette Young (Eugene), Raette Redmond, Patricia Garrett (Scott). Grandchildren are; Chelsey, Taylor, Addison;  step grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, Derek, Jason, Chris, Justin and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Bruce Rozzell.
