Steven Caudill

Steven M. Caudill, age 59, of New Castle, passed away September 17, 2010, at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 26, 1951 in New Castle, Indiana to Everett and Janet (Murphy) Caudill.

He was a 1969 graduate of Spiceland High School. Steven served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for Caudill Marathon for many years.

Survivors include three daughters, Stacie (husband, Gary) Wrightsman of New Castle, Emily Caudill of New Castle (companion, Adam Walters) and Mary (husband, John) Catron of McCordsville; parents, Everett and Janet Caudill of New Castle; grandchildren, Grant Ingalls, Cassidy Wrightsman, Keaton Walters, Cheyanne Stephens, Mashayla Farrell, Jennifer Catron and Taylor Catron; his companion, Candy Stephens of New Castle; two sisters, Cindy (husband, Randy) Utt of Lewisville and Susie (husband, Larry) Hufford of New Castle; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; a special friend who was like a brother, Bill Ocasio of Puerto Rico; his former wife of 23 years, Jennifer Lee of Miamisburg, OH.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Tom McGilliard officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 12-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the funeral home.
