Steven William Land

Steven William Land, 51, of Celina, OH and formerly of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 14, 2013 at his home. Steve is the son of Joanne Land of Celina, Ohio and the late Gene Land.

Steve was a member of Chicago Corner Church and also a member of the Eagles in New Castle and Celina. He loved watching NASCAR and enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles. Steve also enjoyed cooking.

In addition to his mother, Joanne Land, Steve is survived by his son, Staff Sergeant Steven Todd Land E6 and his wife, Faye, and granddaughter, Makayla Land of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Tara Faye Land of Lewisville; sister, Diana (Rex) Spencer of Celina, OH; niece, Katie (Eric) Price, and great niece, Sophia Price all of Celina, OH; niece, Emily Spencer of Chicago; he also leaves several friends as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend Lori Miller.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Gene Land.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, IN with Rev. Roger Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
