Steven Rudy Rudloff

Steven “Rudy” Rudloff, 44, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Henry County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 3, 1967 in Sturgis, MI, a son of the late Charles Henry and Mary Magdalene (Denney) Rudloff.
A 1986 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, he worked at K-Bob’s in Deming, NM and after returning to New Castle, was employed at GEO as a correctional officer. He enjoyed cooking, a good joke, spending time with family, and was a great friend to many.
He leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Katrina Larry of Constantine, MI, Sgt. Steven M. Rudloff Jr., serving with the U.S. Marines in Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, Robert Rudloff of Bronson, MI, and Alexis Rudloff of New Castle; three brothers, William “Bill” (wife, Kathy) Denney of New Castle, Lewis “Ray” (wife, Joy) Goff of New Castle, and Mike (wife, Elisa) Rudloff of Deming, NM; two sisters, Teresa (husband, Bob) Holmes of New Castle, and Julia Rudloff of New Castle; a special friend, Shawna Donica of New Castle; his step-mother, Carol Rudloff of White Pigeon, MI; a step-brother, Tracey Hull of Three Rivers, MI, and two step-sisters, Tina (husband, Rollen) Chaffee of Three Rivers, MI, and Debra (husband, Jim) Tinsley of Constantine, MI; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Beth Ann Denney; grandparents, Bradley and Lena Denney and Charles and Lena Rudloff.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church in New Castle with Father Joseph Rautenberg officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Steven “Rudy” Rudloff memorial fund c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 S.
