Stuart Jay "Bubba" Ditton, 62, of Port Orange, Florida and formerly of New Castle passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 following a brief illness. He was born on February 3, 1954 in New Castle to the late Kenneth and Edith (Tutterrow) Ditton.
Bubba was a 1972 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler High School. He worked as a construction superintendent at ICI Builders and had also worked at Spruce Creek Fly In Community as the maintenance supervisor. Bubba was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, collecting coins and golfing.
He is survived by his siblings, Paula (Lance) Howe of New Castle, Melia Swejkar of Muncie, Mike (Carey) Ditton of New Castle, Steve (Michelle) Ditton of Ft. Wayne, Stanley Ditton of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Brian (Sherry) Ditton of Anderson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
